The NBA offseason can throw out some wild and crazy things, but nothing can really get crazier than this game of basketball which Steph Curry participated in this week. The Golden State Warriors star was in South Korea as part of his Asia tour with Under Armour. Here, alongside his brother and Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Seth Curry, he participated in an extremely strange game show. The two Curry brothers took part in arguably one of the oddest games of basketball you will ever see in your life. The show is called Infinite Challenge and features comedians (seen in the video further down in this article) making commentary during the matchup. Lonzo Ball. Heading into the 2017 NBA Draft, no one was surprised when the Philadelphia 76ers chose Markelle Fultz with the No. 1 overall pick. Even fewer were surprised when the Los Angeles Lakers selected Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 pick. Though Fultz's Summer League season was cut short by injury, Ball showed flashes of brilliance before an injury forced a premature end to his summer as well. However, the folks with the NBA 2K video game series have seen what they need to see from the star rookies and have released their NBA 2K18 ratings. The Los Angeles Lakers have positioned themselves to be major players in the 2018 free-agent market, but they're not quite where they need to be just yet. As the team pursues stars like Paul George, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and DeMarcus Cousins, there is still some work to be done to create the salary cap room necessary to sign two of those big-name players. . The last remaining key member of last season's championship-winning Golden State Warriors roster has found a new home. After the Warriors re-signed JaVale McGee to be their 15th and last player on their active roster a few days ago, Ian Clark’s return to the team became impossible. As a result, Clark agreed to a one-year $1.6 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, as reported by Shams Charania of The Vertical. The former Belmont University star began his NBA career with the Utah Jazz after going undrafted in 2013, but struggled to receive playing time in his rookie year, averaging just 7.5 minutes and 3.0 points over 23 appearances. The following season, he appeared in 23 more games for the Jazz (averaging 1.9 points in 7.0 minutes) before moving onto the Nuggets, where he also averaged 1.9 points in just 4.4 minutes. . The Brooklyn Nets finished with the NBA’s worst record at 20-62 last season. The previous season, they went 21-61. Not only have the Nets suffered in the win-loss column, but they have been tragically hurt year-after-year by the effects of their trade for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett with the Boston Celtics. Due to the allure of Hollywood, among other business-related factors, the Lakers seem like a natural fit for James. After Stephen Curry openly mocked his workout routine at Harrison Barnes’ wedding to the delight of Kyrie Irving, who has requested a trade out of Cleveland, Kevin Durant got in on the action. On his YouTube channel, a fan suggested that LeBron is better than him. “LeBron is better than you it’s just fax,” a fan named Joe Deezy wrote.  “Nah,” was Durant’s short and sweet reply. Kevin Durant. It seems as though 2017 is the year which Kevin Durant breaks records on and off of the basketball court. On his way to becoming the Finals MVP and helping the Golden State Warriors defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1 in the series, Durant scored 30 points or more in each of the five games, becoming the first player in NBA history to do so across the Finals. Enjoying his first offseason with a championship to his name, the Warriors star has traveled to India to help the NBA expand in that region. During his time in the country which is home to 1.3 billion people, Durant took part in a camp in New Delhi, where he helped set a Guinness world record Friday for the largest basketball lesson in history. 3,459 participants across multiple venues took part in the lesson earlier this week. Maya Moore scored a season-high 27 points, Lindsay Whalen made a go-ahead baseline jumper with 47.7 seconds left and the Minnesota Lynx beat the New York Liberty 76-75 on Tuesday night. Epiphanny Prince made 1 of 2 free throws to pull New York to 76-75 with 31.8 seconds left. Minnesota lost control of it and New York won the jump ball with 15.1 seconds left. After a timeout, Prince drew a double team and found an open teammate but Sugar Rodgers’ 3-pointer was off the mark. The ball was batted around and Rodgers was off on a shot from the corner at the buzzer. Sylvia Fowles had 18 points and nine rebounds for Minnesota (17-2). Whalen finished with 12 points. Basketball has evolved in recent years from a big’s game to guards shooting 25-foot shots like layups. Since the 2013 WNBA season, the league has seen a 22 percent increase in the number of 3-pointers taken per team per game. Squads such as the Washington Mystics, Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Lynx have all begun to feature the 3-point shot more prominently to bolster their offensive production. Overall, teams are averaging about five more 3-pointers per game than they did in the league’s inaugural season in 1997. Standing 6-10 with a 7-foot-4½-inch wingspan, Udoh (6-10, 245, Baylor) enters his first season with the Jazz, after a successful stint with Fenerbahce Ulker (Turkey) from 2015-17. . In the current NBA landscape, the concept of loyalty has come under fire in recent years. However, John Wall and the Washington Wizards are an example of a player and organization that seem to be on the same wavelength. First reported by David Aldridge of TNT, Wall agreed to a four-year, $170 million extension to remain with the Wizards.
