What Usain Bolt told me after I beat him in his last race - Justin Gatlin

Justin Gatlin has just revealed that Usain Bolt was gracious enough last night, after he defeated the Jamaican fastest runner in the final race of his career.

Bolt told the twice-disgraced American Justin Gatlin, that he deserved his world title on Saturday night.

Gatlin was booed by the London crowd each time he appeared through the rounds of the men’s 100m race, only to stun their favourite in the final.

“It’s just so surreal right now.

“Usain has accomplished so much in our sport and inspired others like Coleman to come out and compete in the championships.

“Usain said ‘congratulations, you deserve it.’ And that’s from the man himself. He said ‘you don’t deserve these boos’. He knows how hard I work. Tonight was all about the W (the win) and I managed to sneak it,” Gatlin said after shushing the crowd.

Seri denies Barcelona move has been agreed

Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri insists he has not played his last game for the club despite reports of an imminent move to Barcelona. The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a €40million transfer to Camp Nou, although Nice general manager Julien Fournier stated on Monday that no negotiations between the clubs had taken place.
